| Telly-loving PlayStation 3 owners are in for a treat this week – the ITV Player and Channel 4's 4oD are set to join the BBC iPlayer as PS3 applications.
That means you'll soon be able to watch shows Coronation Street and The Inbetweeners via your PS3, The Guardian reports.

| That is indeed, great news. As I cannot get a reception upstairs for my tv, this really adds some more, and more to the point, free choices for me. Brilliant news!

| True, I'd use it if I didn't have pc hooked up to TV in room anyway, we have love film too but watch that through PC more as there's more to watch free and quality is a lot better than PS3. |

| Nice. I don't know if I'll ever use them though. It would be nice to see them all rolled into 1 program for search purposes. |

| Virgin need to come up with a way we can use either our 360 or PS3's as a Virgin box now that would be good. |

| The ITV player thing is there, but there's no sign of the Channel 4 one for me? The ITV one forces you to watch adverts which, although understandable, is quite annoying. They pepper them at regular intervals throughout the programme & even if you try to skip forward through a programme it'll force you to watch them. It just spoiled The Jeremy Kyle Show for me! |
